Ideally located between Le Château and Boyardville, 5 minutes from the beach, in the heart of the oyster farms, this family property can accommodate 8 people in optimal comfort.
A large terrace with a brick barbecue and a secluded garden allow you to enjoy the Oleron climate.

The space
The house is level.
Decorated with driftwood collected on the beaches of the island, it offers a large living room with fireplace (living room and dining room) equipped with 2 sofas, a TV and a long table to accommodate all your meals, wifi access and a repeater that you can place in a bedroom or in the hallway, 4 bedrooms (3 beds 140cm and a bed 160cm), 1 bathroom and a bathroom renovated in 2023 and 2024, a separate toilet, a functional kitchen as well as a terrace with a brick barbecue.
In the large cupboards in the bedrooms, you will find: 2 clothes hangers, an iron, an ironing board, 4 loungers, outdoor games, a travel cot and a baby bath. Please put them back where you found them when you arrived.
On the covered terrace, renovated in 2025, there are 4 deckchairs, a small table with teak chairs, and a table with wooden benches to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces. A space decorated with small pebbles and vine shoots has been created to extend the terrace to the west.
A parking space in front of the garage allows you to park two cars. The garage is not open to visitors. If you have more than two cars, you can park them along the road.
You will find in Dolus d 'Oléron (5min by car) all the necessary shops, including a hypermarket stocked with local products.
Bed linen (fitted sheets, duvet cover and pillowcases), towels, bath mats and tea towels are not provided. Please bring your own linen. Pillows (65x65) and duvets (220x240) are provided and are covered with protective covers (mattress, duvet and pillows). Please do not remove these when you put on your pillowcases and duvet covers. The mattresses are also protected. These protective covers are not sheets: please cover them with your bed linen.
The kitchen is equipped with a large double sink, worktops, a stove with electric hobs and oven, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge-freezer, a microwave oven, as well as small household appliances: filter coffee maker, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, multi-function food processor, mixer, hand blender, etc.
The dining room is equipped with a large wooden table and benches for family lunches and dinners. Sofas and coffee table allow you to enjoy a fireplace depending on the season. A TV and small speakers are available.

The garden is large. It is home to a few trees: an olive tree, a mimosa, an umbrella pine and a fig tree, which are still small, as well as oleanders, hydrangeas, irises and agapanthus. It is enclosed in its north by a ganivelle fence, it is fenced to the east and to the south by hedges, it is open west coast.
The garage is a private area. It is not left at the disposal of visitors.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house, with the exception of the garage.
Check-in and check-out are self-contained via a lockbox. Elsa Seguin, who lives on the island, will be able to assist you if needed.
You will have 2 keys: one in the lock box and one in the storage compartment in the dining room. You can also use the key to the French window in the living room. Thank you for always putting them back.
Other things to note
Each room has a large closet: wardrobe and shelves.
Board games, outdoor games, books are at your disposal, please put them back after use so that the following guests can benefit from them.
We like to give objects a second life. You will therefore find several renovated or transformed.
Waste management on the island
The municipality encourages waste sorting.
You will be asked to deposit:
. your packaging and papers in yellow columns (free and unlimited),
. glass in a suitable column (free and unlimited),
. organic waste in the composter behind the house,
. household waste that you cannot sort, in a column using the card made available to you in the pocket of the dining room (please always replace the card there)
