Hello Bliss! Total comfort, beautifully appointed, feels like your own. Newly renovated—your home in the north—is everything you wished for. Nestle by the fireplace while relishing the never ending view. Fjords and tiger teeth mountains envelop you and for a moment you can forget the rest of the world exists. Nature is at your doorstep. The Aurora Borealis, hiking, skiing, boating, fishing and horseback riding (or just sleeping!) await you. Also, Fast Internet!

The space
We've gone to extra effort to make the space and your experience as sumptuous and comfortable as imaginable. We want "better than a hotel" experience!

7 minutes from Sortland for shopping, sports stores/rentals, 15 minutes from Stockmarkness, home of Hurtigruta and a super charming town, 45 minutes to Nyksund, famed artist community from a revitalized abandoned fishing village. Hiking, cycling, fishing, cross country skiing at your doorstep.

Limited interaction with guest unless you need help or wish to be social. Very friendly place.

The house is on a dirt road which only has 2 family farms on it that have been there for generations. One of three main houses on our farm, this home is beautifully maintained and has all conveniences. The original homestead is just next door, which will be available by next year. It was built in the early 1800s and sleeps 6.

There's an excellent local bus system. The bus stops at the end of our dirt road. There are several local car rentals. If you like to cycle, the roads and terrain couldn't be better.

The cross country skiing is world class. The local township maintains trails and they are illuminated throughout the winter. Summer: hiking, fishing, sailing, exploring August/Sept: Berry picking. Oct through winter Northern Lights March to Easter: skiing!!

What makes our place unique is that it is situated on farmland with an open, endless view of the fjords and the mountains. You watch the ships go. And, you don't have to travel to nature hikes as they meet you at the front steps.
