Le Marangi Getaway is located in the heart of the historic centre of Martina Franca, next to the historical Le Marangi Courtyard House, which was built by Domenico Le Marangi in 1735.

The Le Marangi Getaway was born from an idea of Giuseppe Basile and Alessio Rapisardi, who have been friends since childhood. Martina Franca has a special place in their hearts as the town where they grew up in together, fascinated by the distinct colours, smells, and flavours that define this place. Giuseppe and Alessio wanted to share this unique experience with visitors, and from this, the Le Marangi Getaway project was born.

You can reach the Getaway by walking through the poetic alleys adorned with small artisan shops. Here, you are able to live with, and live like the locals: the morning greetings with the old lady across from you, the lovely conversations sitting on a step, listening to stories between truth and legend, or hearing a story that you would only be able to hear here. The time for lunch is marked by scents that spread in the narrow and shady streets. We invite you to stay for a day, a week, or as long as you prefer to make you like feel one of us.

To welcome guests and provide them an experience to remember in the beautiful historic centre of Martina Franca, we present a little home and a boutique stay, which is especially appealing for those who don't prefer hotels. This is, in a nutshell, the new form of hospitality represented by the Getaway.

Le Marangi Getaway is for those who are interested in staying in a prestigious modern context, but would still like the feel of living like a resident. We offer regular hotel services, such as breakfast at the partner bar or restaurant. Please inquire with us. Our idea of Getaway is particularly suitable for bringing new life to historic villages and towns of artistic or architectural interest, by recovering and improving old buildings that are unused to provide visitor accommodations.

The Getaway is located close to the Le Marangi Courtyard; its doorway was made by Domenico Le Marangi. Passing through the Archway you'll get into the Courtyard; on one side the doorways lead to stairs, on the other side there are some deep, closed arches, probably intended for keeping small animals at that time. In the right corner of the doorway, you get a glimpse of a well, which was for common use. This type of construction with its various spaces is very similar to the ''Masserie'' (Farmhouses) with courtyards, scattered over he Martina countryside.
