The Landscape Lodge is a welcoming mountain retreat in a tiny hamlet in the French Alps, designed for days spent outdoors and slow evenings at home. Its warm, inviting interiors blend contemporary design with traditional Alpine charm. Beautifully comfortable beds and individually styled bathrooms add a touch of luxury. Outside, the large terrace is perfect for long lunches against a panoramic mountain backdrop, while the private garden offers space to relax, play and enjoy the snow.

You'll have exclusive access to The Landscape Lodge and all its wonderful amenities, including the large terrace, private garden and outdoor wood-fired bathtub.
The only exception is the ground-floor apartment, a self-contained two-bedroom space that will remain locked and unoccupied throughout your stay. This means you'll have complete privacy, with no other guests sharing the property.
If you're travelling with a larger group, the ground-floor apartment can also be booked to accommodate up to 12 guests in total. Just send me a message if you'd like to explore this option.

The Landscape Lodge is nestled in Cercle, a tiny hamlet on the outskirts of Abondance, a traditional French Alpine village with a warm and welcoming community. Surrounded by unspoilt mountain scenery, the valley offers a wonderfully peaceful escape, yet is within easy reach of some of the finest skiing in the French Alps.
SKIING IN THE PORTES DU SOLEIL
We are incredibly lucky to have several fantastic ski resorts within easy reach of the Lodge, each offering something a little different.
La Chapelle-d’Abondance | 10 minutes
One of our favourite local spots, particularly for families and those looking to escape the crowds. With beautiful tree-lined pistes, gentle slopes for beginners and children, plus some great blue and red runs for more experienced skiers. The Panthiaz lift also connects into the wider Portes du Soleil ski area.
Châtel | 20 minutes
A beautiful, traditional Alpine village with a fantastic variety of skiing. Perfect for beginners, intermediates and experienced skiers alike, with extensive pistes, great mountain restaurants and access to the wider Portes du Soleil network.
Morzine | 30 minutes
One of the best-known resorts in the French Alps, with a lively atmosphere and 120km of pistes across the Morzine-Les Gets ski area. The Super Morzine gondola also provides access towards Avoriaz, opening up even more skiing opportunities.

All three resorts form part of the incredible Portes du Soleil, a vast ski area spanning France and Switzerland, with 600km of pistes across 12 resorts.
You can purchase a Portes du Soleil ski pass which gives you access to the entire region. This is what we love to do! There’s something rather wonderful about setting off each morning to explore somewhere new, discovering different pistes, mountain restaurants and breathtaking scenery along the way.
