About the Owners
We are a couple who takes pride in our home and neighborhood. We treat our rental space as a business and will go out of our way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Due to our work schedules one of us is usually available most hours of the day and will make ourselves available if needed. We live in the upper half the home. This space is truly your home away from home, and our goal is to welcome you as such by going the extra mile, so please don’t hesitate to ask any questions or vocalize any feedback you may have. We ask you treat our home with the same care we do, please see our house rules.

This is a completely non-smoking home. Smoking of any kind is only allowed outdoors as long as no odor is brought into the house, burning material is properly extinguished and cigarette waste is properly disposed of in a garbage container.
At this time no pets are permitted. We love animals, but currently the home is not conducive to having them stay.
While linens and bath towels are provided in the unit, daily maid service is not included. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house so if you are planning to take a trip to the near by pool or a day trip to the beach please prepare in advance to bring your own towels.
In the same fashion the kitchen is fully equipped, but guests are not allowed to remove any of the owner's cooking supplies.
All of the units are privately owned. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
Please make sure to read the cancellation policy prior to making reservations, any reservation made under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and or rental money and the party will not be permitted to check in.

Recycling and Composting are very important to both us personally and the community. We have equipped the unit with two trashcans in the home, one is for trash, and one is for recycling. Most things can be recycled or composted (there will be a list for your convenience). All compost items can be placed in the provided counter compost bin. If during your stay you need to empty the trash from within the home, please do so in the proper bin (Green=Compost, Blue=Recycle, Blue=Trash). Trash service comes every Thursday morning, and homeowner will move bins to street Wednesday evening.
No more than 4 people are permitted to stay at one time and only those in the reservation count are allowed inside the home unless previously arranged with the owner.

We love to travel! Most recently we went to London, Amsterdam and plan on going to Germany next. Paul works for an airline, so we are always planning our next trip.
We love homes! We both watch quite a bit of HGTV and love looking at homes even if we aren't purchasing. We enjoy making houses into homes. We also believe in community and leveraging your biggest asset which is why we are on Airbnb.
We love family! We live 5 blocks from where Paul grew up and where his parents still reside. Our family is large and so we joke that we don't have many friends outside the family and those friends we do have outside blood relatives have been adopted into the family because we value it so deeply.
We have rented to long term tenants for nearly 10 years. We enjoy sharing our home, wherever that may be. We have just started short term rentals, and are very excited because we get to wear our hospitality hat. We hope that each of our guests feels as comfortable as any family or friend that stays with us. We are aiming to try to introduce people to the area by providing a book of what to do, where to go, what to see, etc. We also want to provide each guest with a unique experience, thus plan to give them samples of local goods while staying in our home. We love history, so if and when possible we will also introduce our guests to the history of the area.
