Relax to the sounds of a burbling stream, lounge around the fire-pits on the spacious deck or by the stream, cool off in the pool, or unwind in the hot tub. Situated on 2.5 acres, Laurel Creek Cabin offers plenty of amenities and privacy, yet is only 7 minutes to downtown Fayetteville and 10-15 minutes to almost all of the rafting/adventure/guided fishing companies, hiking & biking trails, rock climbing, and wherever your adventure takes you!

The space
Cozy, yet plenty of places to lounge around: living room, sitting area, front porch, back deck/fire pit/pool/hot tub, fire pit by stream, dining room and two bedrooms. Central AC/heat. Fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, coffee/coffee maker, cooking supplies, and washer and dryer with laundry supplies provided. Propane for grill and fire pit on pool deck provided. Firewood provided by fire pit by stream. Bathroom has a toilet and sink and a separate room with a shower/tub and sink, so anyone can use the toilet while someone is showering. Plenty of free parking. Wifi and Netflix available. Large front yard, fenced in back yard, and also a large, open back yard behind fenced area. House trained four-legged friends welcome!

*Dogs - chances are you will meet Rusty, the neighbor's brown Doberman puppy, and Betty White, their goldendoodle, during your stay. They are friendly and usually come over to see if our dog, Titus, (or any dog for that matter) is available to play. For this reason, if your dog(s) are aggressive with other dogs, we do not recommend booking here.

You understand that use of the pool, hot tub, and surrounding area are at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming in the pool and/or soaking in the hot tub and hold owner harmless. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any incidents or accidents you or additional members of your party may incur. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from using the pool, hot tub and surrounding area. By booking a reservation, you are acknowledging and confirming that you and those in your party have read, understand, and will adhere to this liability waiver as a binding and enforceable contract between guests and the host.

Born and raised in West Virginia, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast, who has been both a raft and fishing guide on the New, Gauley, Greenbrier and Elk rivers for over 15 years. I met my lovely wife, Kristy, who is writing this now, when I was her raft guide on her first white water experience, and we were married at a top-secret, beautiful overlook of the New River five years later. We love the Fayetteville area and feel that the New River has a way of refreshing your soul. There's something very special and spiritual about that river. We have been looking for a place in the area for many, many years, and this past summer found the place of our dreams in Laurel Creek Cabin. Our aim is to provide you with an amazing place to relax and refresh that meets all your needs and wants. Our hope is that you love the cabin and the area as much as we do and return home refreshed.
