The Blue Heron Heron Farm and Retreat is a beautiful 13 acre farm and bed and breakfast nestled on the Nezinscot River in Turner, Maine.
Our historic brick home was built in 1790 by Samuel Irish - the oldest brick home in town.
We invite you to stay with us to enjoy the history, the scenery, and all that our farm has to offer.
Each glamping tent is near the river with a sitting area, wood stove inside the tent for heat, a fire pit, and a private detached bathroom a short walk away.

The space
Canoe or kayak the lazy Nezinscot River for an hour, or take the full day, and we will pack you a picnic lunch to enjoy on your adventure. Canoes and kayaks are provided free of charge to our guests.

We have a full recreation area with all kinds of games - volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball, corn hole and badminton!

Bird enthusiasts will delight in the varied
d species we have on the farm and along the river.

Fishing is always a favorite on the Nezinscot River.

Walk our 13 acre property and enjoy our cut flower area, herb garden, vegetable garden along with our farm animals.

At night, star gazing at the Milky Way is a must.
