From the well equipped kitchen to the melded living dining areas, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, reading nook & inviting air-conditioned bedroom retreat, 2 bathrooms and laundry facilities, you will be relaxed from the moment you step inside this beautiful space.

This is a small but stylish accommodation suitable for a couple or a couple with 2 young children. There is only one bedroom, however the reading nook in the lounge can be used as 2 single beds with foam mattresses.

Once you visit the idyllic village of Yungaburra it will capture a piece of your heart as it did to me many many years ago. We bought this property when we lived next door and we immediately set about renovating the original rustic shack.
While David loves a Reno/ building / landscaping project, I love everything interiors; the styling & curating of furniture & objects that transform a space from house to home. I hope our guests enjoy the Shack as much as we did preparing it for them and fall in love with Yungaburra and the natural beauty of the Atherton Tablelands.
