Interaction with guests
We offer our guests privacy. We do live across the driveway from the Mountain View and will gladly help in any way you like.
This is a quiet, residential neighborhood. You will feel like you live in Hawaii. The beach is so close. You simply stroll down the street. As you start walking to the beach, you get a glimpse of that unreal blue of the Waimanalo ocean and you can't wait to get there. Look the other way, and you have the most dramatic view of the Ko'olau Mountains.
TheBus goes all around the island. Most people rent a car who stay with us; but you can go everywhere on TheBus.

I have lived in Waimanalo for about 20 years. I love to swim daily in the ocean, sail, walk each morning on Waimanalo Beach, travel and read. We have vacation rental homes in Waimanalo and Kailua. My husband is a woodworker in Waimanalo and builds furniture using Hawaiian hardwoods: koa & monkey pod. We have two daughters who ride horses, surf, do tae kwon do, and generally enjoy the Hawaiian lifestyle.
