Located right after the Estacio bridge, is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house, with a lovely garden with views of La Manga.
The beach is just at the other side of the road!

The space

Located in the Northern area of La Manga Strip our frontline beach house has private, off street parking as well as its own garden. At the front of the property, which is the end one in a row of eight, there is an enclosed patio and access to the nearest beach is just over the road. The road itself is a branch off the main La Manga strip that leads to the lighthouse at the end (approx. 500m) which means there is very little noise from passing traffic. The ground floor of the property is open plan and contains a spacious lounge / dining room that is air conditioned. We have installed satellite TV and a WiFi to further make you feel at home!
The kitchen is well equipped with microwave and dishwasher and we are confident you will have everything you need to enjoy your holiday. There is a downstairs shower room and large storage area to house lilos and beach gear which you are more than welcome to use / add to!
The terrace to the rear of the property is south facing and overlooks a private garden as well as the canal and Mediterranean beyond. Many guests in fact struggle to leave the terrace and explore the surrounding area as they can enjoy the privacy and views without the feeling of being cut off! For new comers to the area, the canal is one of the main (there are 2 others) access points for boats to cross between the two seas. An ideal place to boat watch without having to get up from the sun lounger or abandon the BBQ!
Upstairs the accommodation can very comfortably sleep 6 in the 2 double and 1 twin bedrooms - although if there are more little people in your party we do have cots and inflatable mattresses available for hire on a weekly basis. The bedrooms share a large family bathroom and the water pressure is fantastic!
From the main bedroom there is a balcony which runs the width of the property and really frames the stunning southerly views which are only topped by climbing up to the large solarium via the spiral staircase in order to catch those last few rays of the day!
Should you prefer the pool rather than the beach, the house is part of a development called Venecia Azul which is made up of the eight houses and 2 apartment blocks that overlook the communal pool. Opening times are seasonal.
Within walking distance there are several bars, a pharmacy, a bakery and supermarket and the Tomas Maestre Marina is just a fifteen minute walk away. While we do recommend you have a car it is not essential as there is a bus stop just a stone's throw away. Buses run all year round but obviously have more frequent services laid on during the summer months.

Guest access

The house has got a communal pool located in front of the Venezia Azul building.

Interaction with guests

In the case that I am not in La Manga to meet you in person, then keys are collected from the managing office. If you arrive later than 21.00 then they charge an extra fee of €30.00, payable directly to them. Let me know first if this is going to be the case before you book.
Pets are allowed, subject to availability and a surcharge of 25€. Owners are always responsible for any damage or extra clean needed.

Other things to note

Please, make a responsible use of the Aircon, make sure that if it's on, doors and windows are closed and that it's off before leaving the apartment.
Smoking is not allowed inside of the apartment, if you smoke, please, do it in the terrace.

What a fantastic villa. Bigger than it looks in the pictures and with great views. In a slightly quieter part of la manga strip, we loved our stay here. I would recommend!

We stayed in September for 3 nights. Overall we had a great time, the only thing that was a little odd was that there were so few people around while we there, at times it almost seemed deserted. It was great because we could get a spot anywhere on any of the many fantastic beaches, but it made it a bit strange being the only ones at the restaurants sometimes. I don't know why there were so few people, I talked to some of the locals who told me that there was a big festival going on in nearby Cartagena which was responsible for some of it, and the other reason being Summer is considered over by September so vacation areas like La Manga aren't so busy. Being from Seattle it definitely still felt like Summer to us with clear skies and temperatures in the low to mid 80's every day. The house was great, right across the street from a nice beach and you can watch yachts and sailing boats going past right from the backyard or upstairs balcony. There is also a large selection of English and Spanish movies provided as well as free wifi, which was very helpful for us. We picked up our keys from the office and everyone there spoke flawless English and were extremely helpful in getting us oriented, telling us where everything was, and even called some local restaurants to check which were open. The only issue is that the office closes for about 2 hours every day (I think from 2 to 4), and we didn't know this at the time, so when we arrived at 2:20 or so, we had to wait around for an hour and a half. This was probably our fault since we originally said we'd be there at 12, but ended up running late. Important to keep in mind though. La Manga is a truly unique location made up of basically 12 km of nice sandy beaches on either side of one long road. This house is conveniently situated just 10 minutes walk from the marina, which is a local hub of restaurants and bars. Being a tourist heavy area, almost all of the locals speak at least a little English and we had no trouble making ourselves understood anywhere we went.

Kelly's Refurbished Beach House in La Manga was an excellent choice for our family of 4. Despite the unfortunate weather, we enjoyed the back garden and the view of the canal and sailboats passing by. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Although we enjoyed local restaurants for dinner, we used the kitchen for breakfasts and lunches every day. There were plenty of options for dining and shopping within walking distance or very short drive. The beach for Mer Menor is right across the street and surprisingly warm. Kelly made check-in and check-out very easy for us. We would definitely rent again and recommend it to other families.

Kelly left clear instructions for collecting the key to the house in Cabo de Palos, a delightful fishing village which had a market on Sunday. Although it was 13 km away, we visited twice to enjoy this lovely place. Kelly also left a contact number too, should I have any questions whilst staying at the property. The house was absolutely perfect for a quiet winter break. We had everything we needed in the house to make our stay comfortable. The house and garden were completely dog and cat friendly, most properties in the row had dogs and access to safe dog walking areas were literally on the doorstep. We spent Christmas and the New Year at this lovely spot , enjoying at least 6 glorious hours of sunshine on the patio each day. We were minutes away from beautiful beaches and there were stunning views of the sea. islands and mountains from the garden, bedroom terrace and roof terrace. It was absolutely idyllic. The Mar Menor offers stunning scenery and is clearly a popular tourist destination. It was 20 minutes walk to the closest supermarket, restaurants and bars, though many were closed at this time of year. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a stunning location this is perfect. If you're looking for lots of things to do and entertainment, then this too would be the perfect spot in the summer when all the hotels, shops and restaurants will be open. There are many sailing and diving schools all within a few kilometres.
