The Lisbon holiday apartment/corporate flat 'Alfama IV' (also known as ‘Alfama Studio II’) is located in the heart of Alfama/Old Lisbon and is in the perfect spot for exploring Lisbon by foot.

The flat is very close to some of the biggest tourist attractions in Lisbon; Tram 28, Alfama, Miradouro das Portas do sol, Feira da ladra (flea market), Sao Vicente monastery, the Lisbon cathedral, etc.

I have instant booking so you do not need to inquire about whether apartment is vacant or not!

Regarding parking;
1. There is public paid parking at Rua Jardim do Tobaco which is around 200 metres from flats - but sometimes hard to find vacant spot. Low risk.

2. Surveyed paid parking is a Parque Jardim do Tobaco around 300 metres away. Zero risk.

Guest access

The guests will have their own historic flat (with private bathroom) - in the heart of Lisbon!

Interaction with guests

Guests get access to flat through an access code which owner sends beforehand - so no personal interaction in what regards key handling nor afterwards unless specifically requested by guests.

I do however send guests ample material beforehand including travel documents and two guides to Lisbon (as pdf's) free of charge!

The neighbourhood

The flat is located in Alfama, where the city of Lisbon was born and it is possibly the place in Europe where you are closest to experiencing an Arab kasbah (without any hassle whatsoever though!).

Getting around

The flat is in a perfect location for experiencing Lisbon by foot! Metro is available at 600 metres distance. The famous tram 28 has a stop merely 200 metres away!

Keys to flat are in a key box by entrance to flat. Guests get code to box after which they get key to flat. Having a system like this allows clients to arrive any time of the day (or night!).

Great location in lovely Lisbon. It's a very old building, in a historic district, but apartment is updated, yet a little challenging to find and quite small. Overall, great value. Great host that provided welcome wine!

I had a very nice stay here, that I enjoyed. Thanks, Ulrik. It was easy to book from one day to the next, as well as checking in and out. The apartment is in a very nice location in the heart of Alfama, where it's easy to feel right in the middle of it all. Nevertheless Santa Apolonia station is easy to get to by walking. Same goes for all of Alfama's sights, as well as Graca with its viewpoints. The apartment offers all you need and I especially enjoyed the well working heating, since I caught a few less sunny days. It was good coming home to this place on a rainy day. After all the apartment isn't as bright and white as in the photos (although it didn't bother me much to only have the door and no additional windows) and caught some scratches since photos were taken. And I wouldn't call the interior design award winning. The shower works OK, but isn't exactly wellness. But these are minor points in a generally nice place!

The flat is very nice, the location is great, housekeeper is a lovely woman and comunication and check in was very comfortable. BUT: The bed is actually 2 single beds and very uncomfortable for 2 people. There is a lot of noise from the floor above, you hear every step and even the toilet. The wifi is o.k but tends to disconnect.

We were not so happy with this flat. The First impression was The dustbin in front of the flat. Inside it was very clean but without any windows only a skylight. The location was good but at night it was very loud because a lot of restaurants with Fado Music Are around The flat The rubbish were collected at Night. The renter accessibility of the renter during The stay was Not good.

I can of course not change Janine´s opinion but just add a couple of corrections - I have looked at my communication and time it took for me to respond - and it was objectively fast. Regarding window, the door has a big window in it and there is a window about the door (don´t take my word for it, just look at the pictures).

The appartment was great, and the location was even better. Everything you'll need is in the appartment, a shower, kitchen, washing machine, fridge, airconditing etc. It's situated in the middle of the historic part of the city with a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. You could walk to the city center in about 10 minutes, and the metro/bus stations were in five minute walking distance. And also we've met Ulrik, and he's a very helpfull and nice guy. I would recommend this place to everybody.

Hi, my name is Ulrik and I'm a Dane living in Lisbon. I rent out nine beautiful apartments in the historical parts of Lisbon and two houses on the island of Bornholm, Denmark.

For the flats in Lisbon I have developed what I call the Lisbon Oasis concept/brand. The Lisbon Oasis brand is;
