The space
Surrounded by nature with a variety of outdoor seating from rocking chairs to couches to a hammock. Plenty of space to wander, play and relax outside- 1.4 secluded acres.The sights, sounds and salt air are sure to relax you. Inside the windows and skylights surround you in natural light all day. There is a Berkey water filter as well as a whole house filter to ensure even your showers have the cleanest water possible. Electrostatic filters clean the air. **There is no direct access to the marsh from the property.**
There are two staircases to the second level- one for Master bedroom (with outdoor deck) and bathroom only and one for the additional two bedrooms and second full bath. The third full bath is on the ground floor next to the infra-red sauna. The kitchen, dining and family room are all open on one side of the side along with access to the back deck with couch and the hammock. Off the front of the house is a wrap around deck with teak chairs, access to the outdoor shower, gas grill, and terraced dining area. The back of the house overlooks Sesuit Harbor and the tidal salt marsh.
There is also a one room cottage on the property (no plumbing) that can serve as a fourth bedroom in certain circumstances which must be approved in advanced (separate charge).
Make new memories and be as active as desired. Includes: 5 beach bikes (bring your own helmets), 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and life jackets, outdoor shower, indoor rain head spa shower, outdoor clothesline, croquet set, badminton, giant Jenga, bocce, gas grill, an organic vegetable garden, as well as a fire pit overlooking the marina. We are located mid-Cape so you can easily explore the entire Cape- hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, restaurants, shopping etc. This house is private and provides plenty of space to keep busy or relax any time of year.
Interested in cooking? The dual fuel Wolf range makes cooking a pleasure. Al fresco dining options: the plush couches on the deck along the marsh, the covered dining terrace at the barn or the adirondack chairs at the marsh edge.
The house, located on historic Route 6A, is a few minutes to Dennis village boutiques, shops and restaurants. Walk to The Marshside restaurant, Lost Dog Pub or to Smugglers for homemade ice cream. Bike to the local favorite- Sesuit Harbor cafe for some seafood. Nearby find the Cape Cod Rail Trail, Snowy Owl coffee- a must try, Brewster General Store for traditional Cape souvenirs, Cape Cod National Seashore, local farms and farmers markets, get handmade bread at Happy Fish Bakery, get morning sweet treats at Eat Cake for Breakfast (another must try) and so much more. Up Route 134 you will find fresh seafood at Chatham Fish and Lobster in Ring Brothers Market.
In the winter explore the Cape via a hike on numerous short or long trails, visit the Brewster bookstore or just sink into a cozy chair in the family room while staying warm in front of the clean burning alcohol Fire Orb in the family room.
