Located in a hidden of the beaten track hideaway, still within a 10 minute drive of city amenities this property offers the ultimate in isolated countryside locations.

The cottage offers views of the River Tay at a prime salmon fishing location in an area rich in history, scenery and wildlife.

The space
The cottage is located at the end of 1km private road which gives seclusion and isolation.

The cottage was build in the 1800's and has been lovingly refurbished to a very high standard in 2020.

The cottage was built on the site of the first salmon farm in the world in 1853 and is steeped in the unique history of the river and it world renowned salmon fishing.

The views over the river Tay can be enjoyed from the rear garden with wildlife including beavers, otters, pine marten, red squirrels all frequent visitor's to the garden and surrounding area.

The species of birds observed from the gardens include ospreys, peregrine falcons, merlins, jay's, woodpeckers and numerous more species are frequent visitor's.
