Limited to one group per day = There will be no other guests in the building on the day of use. One member of staff, who is very conscious of infection control (daily temperature checks), will take care of you.
Before and after each reservation, we set aside a one-day period when we don't take any reservations, and use this time for cleaning, disinfection, and ventilation.
Linens will not only be exchanged for sheets and pillow covers, but also futon covers will be exchanged with sterilized and washed ones before use.

The space
This is a bright Japanese-style room with tatami mats and windows facing south and west. There is a lighthouse just above the south window, and from the west window, you can overlook the boats coming and going from the harbor and strait. It is a comfortable space where you can feel the breeze from the sea when you open the windows.

We encourage you to make use of these two-way windows to ventilate the space sufficiently before you check in.

Guest access
In addition to the guest room, you can use the Japanese-style living room overlooking the strait, the kitchen and dining room, the shower room, and the terrace on the sea side.

Originally, we ran the accommodation in a style that emphasized interaction with guests (halfway between a homestay and a hostel stay). We prepare and share local tourist information, especially information that only local staff know. However, since the spread of COVID-19, we have made infection prevention our top priority and respect the interactions that guests desire. If you would like to interact with guests, please let the staff know at the time of booking, check-in, or when you are in the facility.

I used to be just a traveler. Now I also be a host for travelers, because I opened "TOUKA", June 2016. The Japanese word "TOUKA" means "Light from Lighthouse". I was born in this town Moji, and have moved to Tokyo, U.S. and other places. After 30 years as a company business man, I decided to come back to my original place, led by the Light (TOUKA). I've really wanted to be in this place for many years and got a great chance to open a Little Guesthouse under a little Lighthouse for tourists from all over the World. Unfortunately, there is no guidebook explaining Komorie. Even internet does not have enough info about this hideaway. So, fortunately, it is very exciting for me to show guests, various fine secret spots and activities here. Please call me "Yassan", as my friends call me.
