Where you’ll be

Pettistree, England, United Kingdom

Pettistree is a beautiful and exclusive village on the outskirts of Wickham Market with excellent walks and Public Footpaths.

There are numerous places of interest close by on what’s known as the “Heritage Coast”. Sutton Hoo is only a 15 minute drive from the house and is the site of the largest Angle Saxon Archeological find in the country and a film (The Dig) was made about it.

Gorgeous beaches are as little as 10-15 minutes drive from the house (Thorpeness is my personal favourite as it’s usually uncrowded, easy to park and has a nice little cafe and Public toilets etc.) Thorpeness also has a mere where you can rent a rowing boat and row around the many artificial small Islands dotted around (they are themed on Peter Pan). Thorpeness also has the famous “House in the Clouds”. A house which was probably a concrete water tower which is now owned by English Heritage.
