Elemer was a great host - he met us at the house and gave us a little tour and explained the basic home-care necessities, as well as local facilities, attractions and activities. He was very friendly and accommodating. Throughout our stay he was responsive to any questions we had, and provided immediate response to any problems.
Overall the house is quite charming. The home itself consists of a large master bedroom with a desk (in case your stay includes a little work) and two smaller bedrooms upstairs, one with two child's beds and the other with a sleeper couch that has an air mattress which is quite comfortable. The living area is cozy, and adequately outfitted to watch a little TV or just hang out. The kitchen and dining area is perfect for a small group of 2-4 people and is connected to the living area with a peek-through opening, which is handy for keeping track of children while cooking.
The real star of this property though is the outdoor area - the garden is huge and has been landscaped beautifully. There is a small artificial stream (with two resident frogs) that adds to the ambiance, and there is a huge playset for children to swing/climb/slide on. The deck is gorgeous, and is perfect for outdoor lounging, cooking and eating. We spent 80% of our time in the backyard and loved it. The rest of the time we spent at the dock area across the street, or at the beach area just a 3 minute drive away.
Overall this is a lovely house to stay and get a little quiet time, and if you're looking for some boating/kayaking opportunities this is the place to be.
