The space
This unique Cotswold stone home is a perfect retreat for family and friends alike. The kitchen area allows for catching up and entertaining and there are two smart-TV’s as well as a children's games room. In quieter corners we have a small study looking out into the mature garden, perfect for working from home. The house has been updated and modernised whilst still retaining its homely feel and you will instantly relax when you step inside as it is a very special place with an aura that can only be appreciated once you are here. To think that ten kings and queens have trodden the flags before you adds to the uniqueness of this family home.

Guest access
A car is essential and there is plenty of parking on the gravelled drive for all guests. You can of course take walks from the door and local maps will be found in the office. We will greet you on arrival to explain a few little details to help you make the most of your stay.

Other things to note
Private catering, ready meals, vintage afternoon tea and cocktail making can be arranged by guests directly with our partners. We also recommend Cotswold Mobile Massage who can supply private therapists. For the more adventurous hire some bikes to explore the Cotswolds, go to the Farmers Dog Pub or Diddly Squat or just take an easy stroll to stretch the legs and take in the views. The property can be made into nine separate beds if needed. A welcome hamper will await you and our partner details will be sent once bookings are confirmed. Please message me to discuss your needs for little ones and we can arrange a cot and high chair. Dogs are allowed in the property with well-behaved ones welcome to be left unattended in the boot room if necessary. Please note that the property is not a venue and private parties or extra guests are strictly not allowed.

We are also a short drive from Blenheim Palace and many National Trust Properties or take the train into the centre of Oxford for a tour of the dreaming spires and colleges. Cheltenham is only 40 minutes away so the property is also a perfect base for friends attending any of the popular festivals or race meetings. You could of course just relax, book some treats with our partners and hide away in this idyllic spot away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
