2nd floor of 1921 duplex in Milwaukee's lively Bay View neighborhood. Walk to restaurants or take a short bike ride or car ride to local well-loved taverns. Downtown is a 5 minute ride on the highway. 2 bedrooms, a cozy living room, and an eat-in kitchen. Beautiful Lake Michigan and multiple award-winning Milwaukee County Parks nearby offer year-round scenic walks, and seasonal farmers markets, ice skating and live music. Close enough to the action of the city with the comfort of a quiet street.

The space
This is a the upstairs unit of a duplex, my husband and I live downstairs. The house was built in 1921 and the staircase leading upstairs has a few turns, there is a handrail. There is side door and staircase that leads directly to the unit. The upper unit has a small balcony off of the kitchen that looks over the backyard and neighborhood.

If you are bringing a vehicle you need to register it with the city of Milwaukee so you don’t get a ticket. If you are staying longer than three nights you will need to purchase an overnight parking permit from the City of Milwaukee. All of this information can be found on the City of Milwaukee website. Search for “City of Milwaukee temporary night parking permission” to register your vehicle for stays 3 nights or less.

Bay View is a great centrally-located spot if you are flying in from the airport, attending an event downtown or a festival at the Summerfest grounds. We have wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, locally-owned stores and even a wine bar within 5 minutes of our house. There is a 24-hour Walgreens, a food co-op and plenty to do and see around the neighborhood.
