OUTSIDE:
There is a secluded, sunny cottage garden rambling wild with roses, meadow flowers and apple trees and garden furniture for eating outside and relaxing armchairs all looking over the amazing views of the Derbyshire Dales. We try to support wildlife by not always mowing and you may see bats, bees, butterflies, moths and many garden birds.

Free off-road and on-road parking is available on The Dale and Greenhill but the cottage isn’t roadside so you will have to walk.

CCTV security camera is in operation on the front gate.

Sorry no ball games are allowed because of the risk of damage and the hillside location.

LOCATION:
Wirksworth is ideally located to explore the Derbyshire Dales and the Peak District and there are also many walks right from the front door. Just a few hundred meters up the hill and you’re into the rural beauty of the Dales and a short public footpath walk to the High Peak Trail and the start of the Pennine Bridleway. Black Rock and Bow Woods are not far and enjoy exploring the market at Cromford Mill and Canal walk. A great location for hiking or cycling in the Peak District.
