Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
Please note guests do not have access to the house during the day. We cannot offer homeworking. However in the evenings you can use our spare sitting room to relax in. We are a friendly and flexible family of 4. Short walk into our pretty market town, easy routes for bus, train (Audley End) and airport. Simple breakfast included.

The space
We provide a clean and cosy single bedroom with the addition of our second lounge for your sole use in the evening. The lounge also has a kettle with tea and coffee with a basic uncooked breakfast of cereal/toast. Our spacious family home allows guests the flexibility to have their own space but with the warm welcome of a family environment.

Guest access
Your booking includes our cosy single bedroom and sole use of the main family bathroom. You also have private use of our spare lounge in the evenings. We expect guests to be out of the house during the day as we work from home. We have a large drive way with space to leave your car.

During your stay
Prior to your booking we advise that you check the house rules as each airbnb is unique. We are always around to answer any questions and warmly welcome you into our home.

Other things to note
There is no access to the kitchen but simple breakfast (cereals/toast) is provided and there are also tea and coffee making facilities in the guest's lounge. As it is a private family household with children we would expect guests not to use mobile phones after 10pm and to vacate the spare lounge by 11pm. Wifi access is available in the bedroom and the lounge.

We are a creative family who loves muddy walks with the kids in our beautiful and historic countryside. We both work in arts based jobs and enjoy travelling and meeting interesting people. Jane volunteers at our community allotment and has an interest sustainable living. Ben loves to cook and plays football in the evenings. We look forward to hosting guests in our cosy spare room with plenty of space in our second lounge for you to sit by the fire and relax.
