Comfortable room located in a quiet area just a 3-minute walk from Juquila Church.
Spacious, pretty, comfortable, quiet and surrounded by plants it is ideal for family and friends.
It has two double beds, private bathroom, balcony, wifi and TV.
We have a large and beautiful courtyard where you can be with friends and family.
We can offer snacks, coffee and traditional Juquila bread for an additional cost.
You won't find another place as attractive as this in the whole town.

The space
It's a spacious and beautiful room in downtown Juquila where you can rest comfortably. Inside the same room is the full bathroom and a balcony. It is surrounded by green areas and plants.

We take hygiene very seriously, so you can rest assured when it comes to cleaning your room.

You can park your car in front of the property. There's always room and you won't need it unless you get out of town. The place is safe and there have never been any incidents.

Because Juquila is a village in the mountains, to enter the room you must climb stairs, so we do not recommend it for people who have difficulty walking.

To get to the door to your room, you will pass through a spacious courtyard that you can also use at any time, a possibility that you will not always find in the village. We lend you chairs, tables and plates to make your stay more comfortable.

We can always guide you and recommend the best places in Juquila.

Check-in and check-out times are flexible as long as the room isn't reserved for other guests. Of course we can take care of your luggage.

We take care of the environment, so the shower uses solar heater water, and it's always warm.

TV has Netflix and YouTube.

Although we have the best internet service in the area, unfortunately it sometimes fails and is usually slow. This is the case in the entire village.

We can offer you our refrigerator and freezer for your food.

We look forward to seeing you so that your visit to Juquila will be very comfortable and enjoyable.

Where you’ll be

Santa Catarina Juquila, Oaxaca, Mexico

Juquila is a small town nestled in the Sierra Madre del Sur. It is famous for hosting the Immaculate Virgin of Juquila, famous for being very miraculous, as many pilgrims come to ask for or thank her miracles. It is common to hear a mass in the shrine, visit the Pedimento and the place where the virgin appeared in the nearby town of Amialtepec.
It's also famous for its exquisite bread and unparalleled coffee, as well as tasting the traditional Oaxacan cuisine.

Although Juquila is politically located in the Oaxaca Coast region, the truth is that it has a temperate to cold climate. We recommend you come warm and more in the winter months. It also tends to rain a lot in the summer.

The most common dates to come are Holy Week, summer holidays, October 8 (Anniversary of the Pontifical Coronation of the Virgin), Day of the Dead, December 8 (Feast of the Virgin) and winter holidays.

There are no banks in Juquila. There is only one BBVA teller and one Santander, but they often break down. Business only accepts cash. Please keep this in mind when coming.

It is located 200 km (about 5 hours) from the city of Oaxaca, on Federal Highway 131 taking the detour at Cerro del Vidrio. It is also 98 km (about 2 hours) from Puerto Escondido, on Federal Highway 200 and taking the detour at Rio Grande. Both roads are full of curves, so we recommend driving with caution.

We hope you have a nice trip.

Me encanta viajar. Disfruto de la naturaleza, la historia y las culturas y lenguas originarias. Quiero conocer cada rincón de México, el México auténtico como lo viven los locales. También me gusta compartir lo que sé de mi lugar de origen.
