Stay in picturesque Metung in a brand new pet friendly, self contained studio, with a secure yard for your dog and fire pit. Only 5 minutes from the centre of town and 2 minutes from the start of the Chinaman's Creek Boardwalk.

Located on a 12 acre property, with horses, ponies, chickens and a friendly farm dog, along with our house/farm cat with a pretty rural outlook. Only 5 kms from the centre of town & picturesque lake.

The space
- Newly finished studio with pod coffee machine, microwave, toaster and kettle, basic electric cooktop and all kitchen basics. Coffee pods, tea, milk and sugar are all provided for your stay.

- Fabulous secure outdoor pet friendly space with fire pit and firewood provided at additional cost or welcome to bring your own. BBQ also provided.

- Queen size bed, panel heater, electric blanket and ceiling fan.

- Comfy couch a selection of books and a smart TV, connected to the internet.

- While primarily set up for a couple we are happy to accommodate small children. Please let us know in advance and we can supply a camping style stretcher.

Metung, Victoria, Australia

Metung is a small pretty village with a handful of gift shops, coffee shops and restaurants. There is a beautiful walk along the lake front into town and during the winter months it is not uncommon to see dolphins and seals. There is an abundance of birdlife on the lake and plenty of shoreside fishing. There is a popular waterfront pub to grab lunch or dinner.

Visit our famous local wineries, Tambo Estate, Nicholson River Winery, Wyanga Park along with the Bruthen Bullant Brewery. Take a day trip to the beautiful Buchan Valley and visit the famous Buchan Caves. Head up to the classic Dargo Hotel for a counter lunch and walk it off at the Den of Nargun on the way home.

Head up the stunning Tambo Valley to Omeo, stopping at Ensay Winery and grab an amazing meal at the Albion hotel in Swifts Creek.

Only 25 minutes to beautiful Lakes Entrance and the 90 mile beach. Grab a pizza and set and watch the sun set from Bullock Island over looking the Entrance and maybe watch the dolphins play.

Have a round of Golf at Kings Cove or The Golf Club at Lakes Entrance, or incredibly amazing Golf course in the Tambo Valley.
