Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
This is one of two, two bedroom cottages located on Rutherfords Island in South Bristol, Maine. These cottages are next to each other.Our electricity is provided by our grid tied solar array. We are a five minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean, the Damariscotta River, and John's Bay. South Bristol is a small town 14 miles from Damariscotta,where the closest grocery store is located. We are a working fishing village, and lobsters and fresh fish are readily available at the local lobster pounds.

The space
The two double beds are bunk beds. Cottage heated and cooled by a heat pump powered by the solar array. We produce more power then we use.

Other things to note
Dogs can not be left unattended in the cottage. Dogs must be on leashed and cleaned up after. There is a $10 fee for dogs. Please keep dogs off beds and furniture they get hair on them and we end up doing more laundry and cleaning. Thank You.
