Nestled in Hiawatha National Forest. Serene lakefront cabin with no WiFi and no interruption. Access the secluded lake by provided canoe, enjoy fishing for smallmouth bass or a beautiful sunset on the water. Visit the general store within walking distance and buy marshmallows to roast by the fire. The perfect launch point to Superior, Munising, the Pictured Rocks and adventuring all over Hiawatha. Surrounded by cross-country/snow mobile trails, incl. Bruno’s Run and McKeever’s Trail.

The space
Enjoy quiet as you drink your coffee or tea. Read without interruption or distraction. Put pencil to paper and write that story. Or just take to the woods and discover the Upper Peninsula!

** Note that there is electricity, but there is NO RUNNING WATER. Bring your own water or purchase some at the store down the road.

**There is a composting toilet, for which the full instructions are available at the cabin. Most important rules to follow are; no TP in the in the toilet, and do not let the urine bottle over flow. Depending on the length of your stay and amount of use, the urine bottle may need to be emptied, by you, during your stay.


** There is a large but light canoe for guest use. Life preservers are provided.

** Bring firewood for the fire pit.

** Finally, note that there is no WIFI and spotty cell service. Disconnect!

I'm a New York City native and I married a woman who grew up on a Michigan Farm. She took me on trips to the Upper Peninsula to share its wonders and I fell in love. The endless forests, trails, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, the majesty of the Great Lakes, the stone filled shores of Superior. I just could not believe this wilderness/adventureland was real.

Well, we fulfilled a dream of purchasing property in the UP with our brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Cassie, who live in Munising. We are excited to share the wonders of the north with visitors. We love using Airbnb ourselves to travel the world and hope we can provide the same experiences other hosts have provided to us.
