Margherita's Healing House is a spacious house surrounded by natural beauty, lagoons & hidden pyramids. It is in a peaceful location away from traffic &/or noise from the town, yet close enough to enjoy the beach, & Tulum.
Well equipped, spacious house. Beautiful, quiet location, in natural setting by a lake in Sian Ka'an Biosphere. The next up and coming area, on the outskirts of Tulum. Ideal for people who are looking for self reflection, or a health retreat, &/or yoga teachers wanting to book a space for a yoga retreat. Main studio area is approx 600 sq. ft. Ideal for 10 yoga students at one time.
Muyil archeological site, Sian ka'an Biosphere (3km from the house), ''Nopalitos Lake , 5 min from the house. Tulum beach and archeological site are approx 22km from the house. ( 15/20 mins drive).
Interaction with guests
Hosts will organize Airport transfers (approx 90/100 mins from Cancun airport direct to the house). Depending on the time of the year transfers range from $300-$500. Each transfer will take up to 4/5 guests.
Hosts are happy to help and support your stay. Don't hesitate to ask. If guests prefer not to rent a car &/or book a taxi the hosts will organize a private driver at local rates. please ask..
Other things to note
The house is completely eco friendly. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Eating out in Tulum or on the beach is expensive. We encourage guests to make the most of the facilities and to take a pack lunch to the beach. Cook dinner & breakfast. Drinking water, green tea, is free & inclusive. If you want fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden ask the hosts. They will be free.
Do not leave food around in the kitchen. (Staying close to the jungle we do not want to attract insects or animals).
Always lock the door when you leave.

I am a therapist who worked in the healing arts for over 20 years. When I arrived in Tulum many years ago it reminded me of my spiritual home, as I had experienced in India during the 80's. I knew I could stay here and build a home. So I did.
