Welcome to Prancing Horse Cottage, situated in the lovely village of Sabden, Nr Clitheroe, in the heart of the Ribble Valley.
Nestled in the court yard of Specialised Automotive Services, behind secure electric gates.
Prancing horse cottage offers a rural hideaway, with all the comforts of home.
We have two country pubs and some lovely restaurants which are close / walking distance.
Whalley & Clitheroe are only 5-10 minutes drive away.

The space
Luxurious accommodation, comprising of a large comfortable lounge with fully equipped modern kitchen, double bedroom, separate washroom with shower, TV and WiFi.

There is seating at the front of the property and a small bar shed which is great for relaxing in. There is also a private outside space to the rear of the cottage with secure gates ideal for storing your bicycles, motorbikes, kayaks etc.

Sat within the rural Village of Sabden, walkers and cyclists are in luck with many beautiful routes available from the doorstep in and around Pendle Hill (Site of 17th-century witch trials) and Worsaw Hill (A pre-historic burial ground).

A stones throw away in the village of Whalley is their 14th Century Cistercian Abbey ruins set in beautiful gardens and woodland beside the River Calder. There is also a 12th century Castle set 100 feet high limestone crag and dominates the town of Clitheroe.

If you want to venture further out, The Forest of Bowland is a short drive away ideal for walkers, joggers and keen Mountain Bikers.

The Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District are roughly around an hours drive away as well as the towns of Settle and Skipton which are flooded in rich History.

We are also situated near to the River Hodder and River Ribble which are ideal for those who enjoy fishing or wild swimming.

Keen golfers are in luck as you have a huge selection: Clitheroe, Great Harwood, Mytton Fold, Rishton and Whalley courses.

Sabden village has two general stores/off licences/post office, Sandwitches Café and two pubs.

There is a secure car park space situated right next to the property.

The accommodation is all on ground level and we operate a no smoking policy.
