Surrounded by nature reserves and a wild flower meadow, Chandos Lodge is a retreat, based on the principal of respect for nature and for all who visit.

Newly built in a tranquil setting, the light-filled, open-plan lodge has three double bedrooms + a room with sofa bed (all 4 with showers and two also with baths), underfloor heating and a balcony terrace with panoramic views.

Amenities include an integrated log burner, bean-to-cup coffee, bluetooth, a BBQ, bikes, games and a croquet set.

The space
The new kitchen has a convector hob, microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, washing machine and drier, Iron and ironing board.

There is an easy to operate internal alarm for security, insect screens on several windows and mosquito nets for the summer!

The walls are hung with paintings by the artists Rodney and Pamela Russell, friends of the Norfolk landscape painter Edward Seago.

We will provide a link to our website with further details of what's available inside and locally, while providing a 'welcome manual' on arrival.

Location

Blo' Norton, England, United Kingdom

The lodge is surrounded on 3 sides by the fen nature reserve and therefore a haven for wildlife, especially birds of prey, deer and frogs! In walking distance is the popular Beehive Coffee Shop and village-owned Cross Keys pub in Redgrave. The area is ideal for walks and cycling and local attractions include Bressingham Steam and Gardens and the pretty town of Diss, with its large Tesco & Morrisons. The Star Wing Brewery, a short bike ride outside Redgrave, is famed for its fine beer & atmosphere. Re recommend two vegetarian restaurants; Amandines in Diss and The Walnut Tree.
