View view view. This place was all about the epic view of Mt Hood for us. It was hard to do anything other than sit and watch the clouds and be in awe of such a majestic mountain. Gayle, the host, was lovely and her family's land is beautiful. Make sure you take a walk around the property and up the hill for an even more stunning view. Comfortable home, nice well stocked kitchen. I can see myself visiting again. Guests that want to sit around a fire outside will NOT be able to unfortunately.

Every morning, the first thing we saw when walking down the hall was a stunning view of Mt. Hood. The windows line the south side of the house. Allowing the fantastic view to be seen from the kitchen, dining and living room. The home is very spacious with large rooms. Gayle had yummy scones, fresh eggs and coffee poised for a morning treat. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return soon. Gayle is very sweet and accommodating.

A great view of the mountain from your living room, easy access to great hikes and wineries, a friendly and available hostess that gives you plenty of space and privacy--we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a weekend. Thank you Gayle!

The place was perfect! I have family a few miles from the farm and we spent most of our time with them. It was so nice to end our day in the beautiful artistic setting and comfortable home that Gayle provided. Communication between us was easy...I did not have to contact her for anything during our stay. I can't wait to go back!

Warning : DO NOT use your GPS to get to Gayle's....it will lead you on a wild goose chase. Follow her directions on the website and you'll be fine. She does have a large sign and a yellow banner at her driveway.....however, it is on a tree set back about 10 feet from the road right where a serious switchback begins and we didn't see it 3 (!) times. If at all possible, plan on arriving in daylight. Despite difficulty finding her place, though, it is a stunning setting with a spectacular view of Mt. Hood and a delightful, peaceful home with comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. Gayle is fun and engaging, but also allows you peace and quiet if that's what you're looking for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
