Beautiful, historic two story house in downtown Trois-Rivières (circa 1825). Renovated with love by two artists who are often on tour with their theatre company.
The first floor of our wonderful home is an open living room-dining room with brick walls, a wood stove, antique stained glass windows, comfortable sofas and a big antique dining room table. There is also a spacious kitchen with walls in log construction renovated by people who love to cook! The kitchen looks out onto a beautiful back yard with lovely trees, a deck, a playhouse-woodshed and room to run around. There is a small bathroom on the first floor.
The second floor has three bedrooms (one with a queen size bed and two with double beds), and a boudoir with a sofa bed. The walls on the second floor are of old reclaimed wood. There is also a bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower.
We are two artists with a little four year old boy and two little baby twins. We have been restoring and renovating our home with care since we bought it eight years ago. We tour in Europe quite frequently, and would be happy to share our special home while we are away.
Wi-fi internet, washer and dryer. Wood in the winter, fans in summer. Bbq on the deck. Stereo system on first floor. We have some sporting equipment (cross country skis , a canoe etc) that we would be glad to share. We have no TV or dish washer.
Interaction with guests
We would like to communicate through email and have a good idea who the people will be who will stay in our home.
Other things to note
We have some plants that would surely love to be watered.
Please leave the house as you found it. Please do not smoke in the house. Kindly communicate to us any problems that may have arrived.
