Pretty house in village with shops, bar and restaurant.

Cruzy is a village which is characterized by its position in the heart of several valleys, surrounded by wooded hills and vineyards. The museum holds a collection of local paleontology, archeology , viticulture and minerals.
There are wonderful walks from the door through the vineyards and the Canal du Midi 5km away.

Narbonne and Béziers are a half hour drive away and the beach is about 35 minutes.

The space
You arrive at the house, set on the pretty village square and enter through an attractive, old, carved door into the kitchen/dining room. Up the quaint staircase to the living room with french doors leading to the balcony with views over the square. There is a sofa-bed in this room and off it a laundry room with a washing machine. Upstairs again to the bedroom with en-suite shower room.
There is also a secure location to store bicycles if required.

Cruzy is a pretty Langedocienne village which dates from medieval times, the fortified Church (Ste Eulalie) in Romanesque and Gothic style and listed as a Historic Monument. There is a market twice a week as well as grocery, butchers, pharmacie and bar/tabac in the village and a restaurant half way between Cruzy and neighbouring Quarante.
