The space
Your getaway in the mountains! Our private main lodge rooms are perfect for groups of 4-8 guests, with each guest having their own glamping pod within the room! Designed by award-winning architecture firm GWWO, our private main lodge rooms are luxurious with modern amenities, stunning mountain views, and unparalleled access to the outdoors.
Our private lodge room features our "must stay in" hand-crafted glamping pods, expansive windows opening to the mountain and Warrior Ridge, and high speed wifi. Pods feature secure storage, luggage space, privacy curtains, convenient outlets, custom shelving, wall mounted lighting, and Egyptian cotton sheets. A charcoal grill, private campfire area, and outdoor seating is available steps outside of the main lodge room.
Main lodge guests have their own private water closet during the duration of their stay. There are also 4 private shower rooms for use by main lodge guests. Each private shower room features a large changing area. Main lodge guests have access to a shared full fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, washer/dryer, and charcoal grill outside.

Born to provide delicious, healthy, and environmentally conscious cuisine to our guests, Graze Kitchen prides itself on featuring fresh, regionally sourced meals and grill kits with a modern flare that is true to River Mountain. Guests may order off of Graze's menu at the time of booking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, at an additional charge. With River Mountain being a remote getaway, Graze provides delicious, convenient meals so our guests may relax and enjoy our mountain oasis.
River Mountain offers guests endless access to the outdoors and nature. Our property features private hiking trails, seven natural springs, Sweet Root Creek, outdoor yoga platforms, Hammock Hideaway, forest bathing, complimentary sunset happy hour, and private bonfires. We are bordered by Buchanan State Forest, home of Pennsylvania's Trail of the Year, The Mid State Trail, and thousands of acres of outdoor recreation. Our guest guides feature self-guided hikes and outdoor recreation, designed for all skill levels to enjoy during their stay.
Our on-site spaces and amenities were created to satisfy the needs of our guests during their stay. The historic 1807 log cabin has been restored into our community dining area. Our beautifully restored Mennonite barn is a communal lounge space with open air walls for guests to relax, read, or recreate. The main lodge features an expansive coworking space with floor to ceiling windows, natural light, and office amenities for remote work.

Cell Phone Reception:
River Mountain is in the middle of the mountains. Cell phone reception is extremely limited in the surrounding area and at our property. We do have free wi-fi throughout River Mountain so please plan on enabling wi-fi calling, wi-fi texting, and other wi-fi based communication apps during your stay on-site.
Dogs:
We love dogs! There is a $30 per night cleaning fee. Dogs must be under 80lbs. Please bring a mat/dog bed, favorite toys, and bowls so your dog may have an amazing, safe, and comfortable stay.
