Beautiful Deerview cottage in the sought after village of Blockley, overlooking a Deer reserve, public footpaths just yards from the door. 2m Chipping Campden, 4m Broadway. Fantastic local cafe/bistro and community run shop that stocks almost everything, pub and hotel all in walking distance. 1 large or 2 small dogs welcome, throws provided to cosy down in the evenings log burners for cooler nights.Over 3 floors with 2 double bedrooms and a sofa-bed for child/small adult,1 bath and 1 shower room

The space
Suitable for 4 adults or 2 adults 2 children, 1 large or 2 small dogs welcome, throws provided to cosy down in the evenings. The cottage is over 3 floors with 2 double bedrooms and a sofa bed suited for children. The staircases are curved and a little steep - banister rails on both stair cases, please note the DUCK signs with areas of low ceilings. Entrance is preferred round the back on wet days, flagstone floor for wellies and muddy paws, front door (street level) leads directly into lounge. 2 log burners, kitchen and lounge keeping warm in those cold nights. WIFI, Netflix (smart tv) in lounge- refreshments provided, and a few extras including your first few nights fire wood/firelighters/sticks, a few washing and dishwasher tablets. We have a lovely snug area with chess et, and a place to play the many games kept in the chest box. We kindly ask for no paws upstairs.

The cottage has two bathrooms - one is traditional shower over bath and the other is a shower room is a cubicle on the lounge level

Note - There is an additional £25 for a Sunday/BH arrival and has to be agreed by host, if you message we can unblock that date for check in (change of handover company )

Guest access
The cottage is over 3 floors with the kitchen/dining on the lower ground floor. Front entrance takes you into the middle floor, and you can often park directly by the door. Back entrance is via a little passageway to the right of the cottage, welly holder and coat cupboard on this lower floor. A stair gate is provided to keep muddy paws or little feet downstairs until dry, a hook for leads, and a dog towel is provided. Ground floor consists of a lounge, snug/study and shower room, upper floor you will find the 2 bedrooms and main bathroom with a traditional cast iron bath. Outside the garden is gated but is also access to 2 other cottages which they use to move rubbish bins etc, gates are both on sprung hinges. Access to back via a undercover passage way is preferred post a muddy walk, butler sink in kitchen provides perfect bath for smaller dogs.

We have a smart TV and Amazon Echo so you can log into your favourite shows or music from your own accounts.
We have a bbq that can be used in the summer
We have two log burners, wood left in the winter and by request over the summer months.
