Nice cozy 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house in a quiet neighborhood minutes from all San has to offer. Nothing fancy, just a comfortable place to stay here in SD :-)
Come stay at my cozy home! :-) Not a lot of bells and whistles, but has everything you need for a stay in San Diego. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a good sized kitchen, and a nice back patio. The backyard is a work in progress so there is a nice half and a half that looks unfinished. There is a picnic table, patio furniture and a BBQ you are welcome to use.
I have a couple of very simple air mattresses in the case that you want to use more than the 2 beds, but they are basic Coleman type mattresses that are more typical for camping, but they work just fine in a pinch.
You will have access to the whole house (kitchen, laundry machines, TV, Etc). The only thing you will not have access to is the garage. The kitchen has pots/pans, utensils, all of the basics. New stainless appliances are all less than 2 years old.
The bathroom is simple but everything is functional and I've recently replaced my main sewer line so everything flows smooth!
The yard is great during the day and in the evenings when the weather is nice. My house is on a bit of a hill so there is opportunity for a nice sunset, and you will have access to the BBQ and picnic tables if you are so inclined to eat outside.
Interaction with guests
I will be gone so you will have the place to yourself.
Other things to note
This is my own home that I have been working on, and it is a bit of a project. Things aren't all polished off like you might find in some places, but it clean, and has all the essentials. It isn't going to be setup like a hotel where everything is empty and pristine. Some of my stuff will be in the dressers and closets, etc.. packed away as best I can so you have all of the open space for yourself.
If you think this is what you are looking for, send me a message and we can see if its a good fit!
The neighbors are fairly tolerant of basic house noise, even into the evenings, but I am not trying to rent out a party house for the week. Basic courtesy applies, and I am looking for adults or a small family, not a college party house for spring break.. again, this is my own home that I am renting out when I am traveling. :-)
I've lived in San Diego for 7 years and have been hosting Airbnb guests here at my little house for about 3 years now. It has been great meeting people from around the world and introducing them to my amazing city. Originally from Northern California, I've lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC, New York, and finally here in San Diego. I've yet to live abroad, and really hope I get the chance to sometime in the future. My work schedule is pretty flexible and allows me the freedom to travel and explore often. I like to think I'm a good balance between outdoorsy/city dweller. Love camping, skiing, hiking, sleeping on the beach, backpacking, as well as night life, bars, restaurants, historic sites, museums, etc.
I have made friends from all over the world through Airbnb, which is probably my favorite thing about being a host. I've had guests from all corners of the globe, and its amazing to hear all of their unique stories. I'm happy to give restaurant, or neighborhood recommendations, and even on occasion taking my guests out on a little tour. I want my guests to have the best possible time during their visit to San Diego.
