The cottage was a delightful place to stay! What a pleasant surprise to discover that the bedroom is air conditioned and also has a ceiling fan! Sleeping here was heavenly. The dining room and kitchen also have ceiling fans, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The location is superb, right across a narrow street from the beautiful Cane Garden Bay, and 5 minute walk to Quito's and other very cool restaurants with local live music right on the beach. We did not rent a car; we hailed a cab from the ferry dock, and for the rest of our stay we simply texted the same driver, Kirk, who took extremely good care of us! Just 15 minutes from Road Town and ferry docks. Also, I need to mention that when we arrived, Sharlene met us to help us get signed into the wifi. She had already turned on the AC and lights for us. The host provides a personal use cell phone for local texting if needed. And both Craig and Sharlene are very communicative and responsive. If we ever are blessed enough to return to this island, this is where we will stay, no doubt.

My husband and I had such a great experience with Craig and his onsite: Sam and Sharlene. We visited CGB 2 years ago and it was a no brainer to choose to spend the 4 days prior to our sail trip out of Soper's Hole in CGB. Sharlene met us at the cottage upon our arrival and we were so happy to see that it was just as described on the website. The grounds were beautiful and the space was perfect for the two of us. We especially enjoyed the cute front porch where we'd have our coffee every morning. We did have to deal with a few mosquitos but there were supplies at the cottage and we did bring some from home as well. We chose to provision a few things prior to arriving and supplemented that with some items at the little grocery store next to Quito's on the beach. Speaking of beach, it was a short 2 minute walk there and beach chairs, beach towels and even a cooler were supplied for our use. We loved spending time there and even enjoyed taking a taxi to Smuggler's Cove for a day in that beautiful secluded place when the cruise ship passengers made their way to GCG. If you go to Smuggler's Cove be sure to visit Nigel at his little beach bar. We had a great experience at the Cottages and the only piece of advice I would offer future guests is to consider staying in cottages 1 &/or 2 if the sound of almonds hitting the tin roof at night will keep you awake :-) Either way, you can't go wrong with this quaint community and these lovely cottages!

The place was so neat, we really enjoyed it and out time there. There were beach chairs, towels, a full bar of soap in the shower, a list of numbers and helpful instructions/things to know, and even 4 sodas and a gallon of water in the fridge! The house had a pre-paid cell for our use which was so helpful and convenient in scheduling reservations, taxis etc. Sharlene was there to meet us and was very helpful.

We had a great time staying at the cottages at Cane Garden Bay. The cottages were clean and very spacious for two people. These would be great to rent with another couple to share the other side of the cottage. A surprise was an outdoor patio for grilling/ picnicking that we used and was great. The cottages are right across the street from the Cane Garden Bay beach and had everything that you needed within a quick walk. We rented a car for exploring the rest of the island but you don't really need anything that you can't get within a quick walk around the cottages. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful and accommodating- we'll definitely go back!

I live in Alberta, Canada. I am involved in secondary wood manufacturing, elk farming and organic food production. My wife Kelly and I have been married for 30 years. We have three adult children and three grandchildren. We all love Tortola and Cane Garden Bay.

This property was originally purchased and developed by an uncle of mine and eleven other 'cockeyed optimists' from Rimbey, Alberta in 1979. My father bought out eight of these twelve in abut 1990 and further upgraded the property. I got involved soon after and have been managing the property for about 20 years.
