First off, this is a great house. Clean. Spacious. Location is a 5 minute cab to downtown or a 15 minute drive to Wrightsville beach. Super quiet neighborhood and the condition of the house is great. The only downfall is that there is a really strong musty smell throughout the house that you'll notice during your stay. But outside of that, it's a great spot!

The house was centrally located as not far at all from the beach, bars, restaurants, etc. it was clean when we arrived and a perfect house for a weekend stay in Wilmington. Trilby was wonderful and welcoming! I would definitely stay here again if I were coming back into town!

Trilby's place is lovely, inviting, charming. I loved the quaint radio that brought in the local NPR station. The TV wasn't used much, except by the little ones for their PBS shows. The beautiful oak floors are easy to keep clean, and the extra little touches like the plants add to the value.

Great historic home. Size worked well with four of us, my wife, two teenaged kids and I. Nice one-way steet and nice neighborhood. A short drive to downtown. One good breakfast restaurant within walking distance. Has Wi-Fi but no cable TV.
