The apartment has a lovely warm feel. It's bright and relaxing. Decorated with tasteful Moroccan, African artefacts which give it an exotic worldly touch. I'm a photographer so if you enjoy photographic art you will love the apartment.
The space is clean and modern with all the appliances you need if you wanted to cook your own meals rather than go out.
Across the road is a beautiful park and Red Leaf harbour beach pool. My favourite little beach. Here you can swim and relax in the glorious sunshine and watch the most amazing view of the boats and harbour at sunset.
The apartment is conveniently located close to Double bay village. You can walk down the hill in 10mins to cafe's, restaurants, bars and beautiful boutiques and shops. It is also 10mins walk from Double Bay ferry wharf. The Jetcat will get you into the city in 15mins. Wonderful way to travel! It's a 10m cab ride to iconic Bondi Beach or 30min walk.
Guests have access to entire apartment, the bedrooms, living space, bathroom and kitchen. All day parking next to apartment, if this is full there is free street parking.

Other things to note
It is not suitable for little toddlers/young children. There is no child proofing in the apartment. There is also a huge window that opens up on enclosed balcony with no rail and I am wary of small children/toddlers in the space because of this. Apologies but I'd rather not rent it out to families with very young children unless babies.
The flat is on the second floor so a few steps to climb.
Also there is a very steep driveway so if guests have walking problems or need use of walking stick this could be tricky to manoeuvre.
Also young families with prams.
The driveway entrance is located by the traffic lights before going up to Victoria road. No need to drive up Victoria road as drive way entry comes off New South Head road. Slightly misleading on a GPS and guests often miss it at night.
I expect the guests to respect the apartment like they would their own home. No smoking inside the apartment.
No loud music/parties into the early hours as there are other apartments in the block and I like to keep the peace.
As much as I love pets, no animals are allowed.
Easy going, friendly, well travelled. I'm a lifestyle, documentary photographer so the apartment is filled with my work. I grew up in Kenya, East Africa but have been living in Sydney for 12 years. I absolutely love this city and all it has to offer. I'm sure your stay will be wonderful. I can advise on all the best places to visit.
