About this listing
A converted vintage horse box overlooking the Romney Marsh in Kent. Available to rent for short breaks.
For a true glamping experience with a difference, stay in this fun, quirky and vintage Horsebox suitably called 'The Strawberry Roan'. Set in rural marshland between Kent and East Sussex, you can truly escape to the country and glamp in style at Waypost Farm Glamping.
This Bedford TK horse lorry has been converted with love and care by Sam and Leon Coates of Wahypost Farm Glamping. There's no straw or horse manure in site as the interior and exterior has been overhauled to create a wonderful living space, complete with furnishings and textiles fit for all your glamping needs! With lots of quaint and thoughtful equestrian touches, whether you have a passion for horses or not, a stay in the Horsebox is a must!
You will sleep in a comfy and cosy Double bed, tucked up into framework at the far end of the Horsebox. Two stable doors open from the side of the box so you can take in beautiful views of the rolling countryside and breathe in the country air. Complete with a wood burner, the Horsebox will stay warm and you can boil a kettle for hot drinks from the wood burner or gas hob.
With storage and amenities, everything has been thought of in the Horsebox to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. There is a flushing toilet a short walk from the horsebox. There's even an outdoor fire pit and BBQ.
