Welcome to CC49 … An Idyllic Lake Front Family Retreat
Located in the Forest Lakes District just South of Traverse City on Rennie Lake. CC49 was our Grandfather's vision in 1949 and has expanded from its humble log cabin beginnings, to a very comfortable 3BR/3BA + loft lakefront home complete with WIFI , a smart TV with satellite options, 2 kayaks, and our PONTOON BOAT that are all available for your careful use and enjoyment.

The space
CC49 is now a 2nd & 3rd generation family retreat that is located in the Forest Lakes District just South of Traverse City, MI, on Rennie Lake. In 1949, our Grandparents/Parents won a Cadillac Convertible in a church raffle, sold it and used the proceeds to develop this idyllic lakefront retreat. Many of the materials used in the original cabin construction (such as logs and river rock) were harvested right there on site. CC49 sits on ~1.7 acres directly on Rennie Lake which has no public access so it feels very quiet and private. And through the years, CC49 has expanded from its original and humble log cabin beginnings, to a very comfortable 3BR/3BA + loft lakefront home complete with WIFI , a smart TV with satellite options, and an updated HVAC system for you to enjoy. We also have a boat dock and separate raft that is anchored off shore. And please note that subject to your careful use and quiet enjoyment, we include a pontoon boat and 2 kayaks ... all included at no added charge ... as part of your CC49 experience. CC49 is a GREAT experience and our tremendous reviews speak for themselves ... come join us! :)

Rennie Lake is an all sports inland lake with 238 acres that is great for swimming, fishing is tremendous, and conditions are perfect for watersports including kayaking, paddle-boarding, water skiing, tubing, and more. CC49 is less than 10 miles from downtown TC, and very close to The Boardman River for some GREAT canoeing, kayaking and fishing. The Brown Bridge Quiet Area also offers miles of hiking trails. The Vasa Single Track is a great mountain bike trail system that is very close too. In addition, when the snow is flying, The Vasa is home to 25KM of groomed cross country trails. Like to downhill ski (?) … Boyne Highlands Resort, Mount Holiday and Crystal Mountain are just a short drive away. And snowmobiling (?) … Leave right from the property and ultimately access the Boardman Valley Trail System’s 81 miles of trails and all of Michigan's Northern trail system.

Hello ... I have been investing in and renting quality residential properties in Vero Beach FL, Cashiers NC, and most recently Traverse City MI, for nearly 20 years. These were all Oceanfront, Oceanside or lakefront locations. I recently sold all of my FL and NC rental property locations and I am now concentrating on a NEW lakefront rental investment on Rennie Lake near Traverse City, MI. Our "New" Traverse City MI location is actually a Family Legacy ... "CC49" is a lake home built by my Grandfather & family from proceeds after winning a Cadillac Convertible in 1949 ... thus "CC49" ... the property was owned by our family for 30 years and just recently reacquired by my brother and me. You won't be disappointed here!
