Two/three bedroom apartment with stunning views over central London. Walking distance to Angel and Old Street 'tube' (underground) stations. Concierge (8am to midnight weekdays, 10am to midnight weekends), main entrance access control and entryphone. All mod cons. Fully fitted and equipped kitchen, bathroom and separate WC. Plenty of storage. Bedding and towels provided.
The apartment was completely refurbished in 2010. There is quality wood flooring throughout. The bathroom and separate toilet are tiled and fitted to hotel standard. A large flat screen digital TV and internet are included.
There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and drier. Elsewhere there is plenty of storage for your suitcases so you can keep them out of the way.
The living room can be used as a third bedroom if desired, so the apartment can accommodate up to 6 people at no extra cost. Just let me know your requirements and I will arrange the furnishing accordingly.
The location is excellent for access to lively Upper Street Islington, trendy Clerkenwell, the historic City and the West End for shopping and entertainment. Across the road, the canal (see map/photo) leads to the Olympic Park to the east and to funky Camden Town to the west. The canal tow path is ideal for walking, running and cycling. If you want to rent cycles, a great way to see London, just let me know and I will arrange. You can reimburse me on arival. Bikes can be brought up in the lift and locked on the balcony outside the front door. At street level there is a stand of the famous 'Boris' bikes - urban rental bikes on a pay as you use basis! The apartment is bright and airy, flooded with daylight and has views from every room. Large double glazed windows in every room are easy to operate and can by opened wide for fresh air and also held on restrictors - so are safe with children around.
Before you arrive professional cleaners will make everything spotless for your arrival. For a small additional charge, weekly cleaning can be provided. It's fully furnished and ready to walk in and enjoy!

There is access to all of the apartment. There is a spacious area outside the front door where bicycles can be stored/locked safely.
Interaction with guests
Check in arrangements will be confirmed in advance depending on your time of arrival. Generally the keys will be left for collection from the concierge in an envelope addressed to you. Prior to and during your stay you can contact me (Jonathan) at any time by phone, SMS and through the airbnb website for assistance.
Other things to note
The apartment is bright and airy with many openable windows. Please do not leave windows wide open while you are out. They can be secured in a slightly open position to provide ventilation without risk of rain getting in. Please refer to 'Basics' for more detail.
The apartment will be professionally cleaned before you arrive. Please keep it clean and leave it clean and tidy as you found it*. Please do not smoke inside. There is an open landing area between the lift and front door where it is possible to smoke. Rubbish can be disposed of via a chute on the landing. Do not through cigarette butts down the chute!
