The space

This bedroom is located upstairs it features two beds, thinking of people who prefer not to share the bed. This room has an open private terrace with a view to the courtyard.
The bedroom has two side tables, a desk with a chair, an equipal (Mexican chair), an arm chair, a closet and a full bathroom with a walk-in wardrobe.

Guest access

We regret we do not serve breakfast. However, there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around Casa Esperanza at a very reasonable price. They offer authentic Mexican food.
Casa Esperanza also offers Internet wireless (Wi-Fi).

Interaction with guests

The owners of the house live upstairs and are always available for their guests needs offering them a taste of their very well-known hospitality, while providing space and privacy.
Even though the Jalisco bedroom is upstairs, it still has privacy since it is separated, in a way, from the owner’s area.

Great host with an incredible house Esperanza has decorated her 2 story home, with 6 guest rooms, like a professional decorator. The home is filled with wonderful Mexican folk art to large oil paintings. The home is also filled with lots of energy, joy, enthusiasm, and love. Although she no longer makes breakfast, she has her commercial kitchen well stocked with food that is there for guests to use any time of day. I mentioned that it was cold the first night, so she went out and bought down comforters! We all enjoyed the roof top patio in the late afternoons. there are many restaurants and sidewalk cafes within a short walking distance. An underground, secure parking lot is only a block away for those that are driving in. Esperanza is a gem of a hostess. There is no comparison to staying in a hotel.

Our flight was delayed and cancelled which caused us to be a day late. Esperanza was understanding, accommodating, and sweet to us. Her home is beautiful and she makes you feel at home. It's located in a very nice area where you can catch a cab quickly. I loved it and I can't wait to visit soon.

Esperanza User ProfileEsperanza is a superhost.

Hi, my name is Esperanza and I am from a small town outside of Guadalajara. I've been living in Guadalajara for the past 40 years and I am the proud owner/renovator/decorator of my home decorated in a typical Mexican style (the architecture is from the "Porfiriato" era dating from the late 1800's).
My husband and I occupy the upstairs quarters and we are always available to tend to our guests needs, offering them a taste of our very well-known hospitality, while providing space and privacy. I enjoy listening to classic guitar music, reading, dancing, cooking, learn languages, meet people from different backgrounds and cultures.
