This is a wonderful, quiet and simple place to stay. A great location to see and experience rural Japan. I’ve now visited twice and look forward to spending sometime there again very soon.

Komeyakata is a very special place and Nao and Sam are wonderful hosts. Nao took us to the onsen and we joined in a family barbecue on the first night. On the other nights we ate their delicious rice and enjoyed the common space. We hope to return and can highly recommend staying…

coming to Murayama was one of the highlights of my travels around Japan...excellent spot to check out nearby areas like Yamadera and Ginzan Onsen..... the hosts were amazing and the room was perfect...would recommend this to everyone
