The space

Located in town in a quiet neighborhood directly over the sea! We offer 2.5 rooms for 8-10 people. Our kitchen is fully equipped for your use, we also offer a BBQ grill for you to use on the patio outside, to enjoy some grilling under the stars. Our location is ideal and our home has the perfect blend of Caribbean culture, sun and sea. It can get hot in the Caribbean but the ocean breeze and easy access to the ocean, makes our house must desirable for the tropical climate. Come enjoy, we will give you an excellent orientation of the island and even a historical walk if you'd like.

The location is amazing as was the hospitality. They helped us to arrange different outings and stopped by every couple of days to help clean up. There home had all the basic amenities, my only real complaint was that there were no linens as I did not pack my own towel this was a bit of an issue. The view is wonderful and nothing beats falling asleep to the sounds of the waves beneath you.

3/5 - first time using airbnb. Location: Decent location, approximately 5 min walking from the main street with all the bars. Amazing view!! The hammock was awesome! Very quiet at night, all you can hear is the ocean and the waves crashing against the dock/house. (5/5) The House: Basically a dock with a roof on it, don't expect much more. A lot smaller then expected, cable tv, no Air Conditioning, 1 shitty fan in each room that barley works. 1 hammock, 1 small 3 seater couch outside and 2 chairs, 3 bedrooms, 2 have 4 bunk beds each and one has a master bed. They seemed to be really bothered about wanting to let us use the master which was kind of annoying, especially cause it says 9 beds and 10 guests on airbnb (we were 6 guests with 2-3 pending).. When there is 3 people in each bunk room, it gets really hot, I ended up sleeping on the one hammock outside, which all 6 of us fought over. Not a lot of seating room on the patio. When it rains your restricted to an ever smaller section of the patio, unless you don't mind getting rained on. 1 bathroom for the entire place, there was a nail coming out of the door in the bathroom that stabbed a few of us in the foot upon opening the door. Looked like the place was under construction. (1/5) Bugs: Mosquitoes are not too big of an issue cause of the ocean breeze, also has a bug zapper. When we arrived we started to get settled in and noticed two pots on the stove, who knows how long they were there... We found maggots inside them, and decided to dump them into the ocean. We ended up seeing a couple sharks and fish come closer to the bay because we dropped the food (that was definitely cool, but the maggots being the first thing we saw upon entering the place was definitely disgusting.) After we started getting ready to go out for the night and realized the place was infested with ants. They were all over all the beds (except for the master), the kitchen was covered, the fridge. We had to buy bug spray and spray it all over the beds and kitchen because they didn't have any bug spray anywhere. We made eggs for breakfast and had some leftovers. Left it out on the table for about 5-10 minutes while we had a cigarette. Upon coming back the yellow plate was black from all the ants covering the plate. (1/5) Communication: Leslie was great at telling us how to get a boat to aqua lounge. There was poor communication between Leslie, Martha & Pepe(the neighbor who took care of the house). Also, Martha called me about 5 times and just kept saying hello on the phone for a total of 2 minutes each time she called. I kept saying hello how can I help you and would get the...

Brown House was a beautiful place to stay on the water, and a wonderful way to spend our time in Bocas.. There's nothing quite like listening to the sound of light waves lapping at the shore to get you to sleep at night.. As well as relaxing on the deck in the hammocks!!Leslie was very accommodating to our needs (as there were 5 of us) and Martha was very lovely and helpful too! Thanks for everything!
