Our modest home is available most of the summer. Fishing, whale-watching, bear viewing and forest walks are some of the activities Port McNeill has to offer. Public outdoor swimming pool, shops, cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance.

The space

You will have the house to yourself. Our house is not fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. It's a good home base if you want to spend some time exploring the North Island from the comfort of a home. The ferry, bus stops and shops are all within walking distance and there's plenty of parking if you have your own car.

Guest access

You will have access to the whole house, and small yard. BBQ is available for your use.

Port McNeil is a fantastic place for viewing wildlife and I strongly recommend staying at Hannah's place. We had a fantastic time and Hannah and family were great hosts.

Very homely with all the basic amenities and piano! It was a good base for a couple of days as we explored north of the island. Beds were comfortable and shower in en- suite good. There was use of washing machine although we didn't try it. Area is a quiet residential area close to the centre.

Nice big space for 5 of us. Lovely log burner and free wood very much appreciated. Close to port McNeil and 20 minutes from telegraph cove.

Hannah has described the accommodation spot on. Comfortable, easy access to Telegraph Cove (Stubbs whale watching ) Very quiet, plenty of of road parking, had 2 great night sleep at a very reasonable cost.

The house was perfect for an overnight stay but more basic than we like for any longer. The shower was surprisingly good!
