The group of guys in the house were fantastic. It was straightforward to check in by contacting them through Airbnb. The place is airy, bright and big, with a communal dining room, kitchen and living area. The bedroom was perfect and great for the price - a nice double bed, clean and comfortable. I would suggest to add a fan in there during the hot summer months! Thanks guys. Rory

Nice location, connected to all parts of Lisbon. The room and the flat are simple and clean, spacious kitchen and well equipped What we didn't expect is that this place has 9 rooms with around 20 people sharing two bathrooms. And walls are so thim you hear everything from the other rooms. The worst thing is that there was no one on the check-in, altough we called and messaged the girl who was representing João, so we sat in front of the building for 20 minutes until other guests let us in. Almost everyone we spoke to had the same experience. And there was no one on the check-out, too. This place is more like a hop on - hop off hostel with 4/5 hosts that are not there when they should be. Would recommend if you are into chilling mood but if you are looking for more private and serious place you can find better.

I stayed here for two weeks, since I was in Lisbon to attend a residential session at the university. The place is in a great location right in the city centre and very convenient for access to the metro, shops, main Lisbon city attractions etc. Also I was very happy to have access to a washing machine, that was definitely an advantage. HOWEVER, the bedroom and shared spaces unfortunately were very disappointing... The bedroom was small, with glass doors to the corridor and to another person's bedroom, hence, at night the light from the corridor and the other bedroom was interrupting my sleep. Additionally the walls were so thin that I could hear all the noise coming from the other bedrooms, corridor, bathrooms and the living room really badly. Since I was staying here for two weeks and needed to study/ work, the noise was very annoying and unacceptable. Another thing was the fact that I was charged a "cleaning fee" and the host reassured me that the shared spaces like the bathrooms "are cleaned every day", this was not true at all - even though a tiny bit of cleaning was done (but definitely not every day!) - the floors in the whole apartment have not been mopped for about a hundred years and the kitchen was filthy. Moreover, the kitchen was crawling with ants! Also in the "Amenities" section it says that "essentials" and "shampoo" are provided - this was not so - I was not given a single towel in the whole two weeks, and nobody even thought to offer to change my bed-sheets even once in this whole time. The wireless internet was sporadic and I even had to sit in my bedroom in darkness for over an hour, when the main light-bulb died... There was also a desk-lamp which was not working from the very beginning and I have complained about it to the host but it was ignored until I left two weeks later. The host was inaccessible at all, even though when I arrived I was re-assured that I can text, whenever I have any questions - these remained unanswered most of the time... I will not book this place again, and if you don't like noise, dirt, sleepless nights, ants in the kitchen and disrespectful attitude - I suggest you don't either.

The room is awesome! So is the locational! You can walk easily to city center, metro or railway station. And the host is friendly too. There're few different city maps of Portugal in the apartment, it's good for travelers.

I'm a 28 year old guy. I finished my Master in Management of Services and Technology after my bachelor in Management and Industrial Engeneering.
In our rooms and flats you will find a familiar/friendly mood, made mainly by Airbnb guests, tourists and some International Students! ;)
I'm a rugby player at the Portuguese team "Agronomia" i'm also an International Rugby player for the Portuguese National Team.
This sport, together with ski, are some of the things i love to do... That's a pitty that i don't get to ski more often because Portugal is more a kind of Sun and Beach country...something i'm sure you will love here!
I've been to Turkey, in Istambul, as an Erasmus student and travelling is probably one of my biggest passions!
