Welcome to 4A Courtenay Terrace in Salcombe!

This beautiful apartment can accommodate up to eight guests and is situated in the heart of Salcombe with incredible views over the historic fishing town, the Estuary (technically a Ria), and the sandy beaches beyond.

The property is also offered with a nearby parking space which is only a two-minute walk away. The apartment comprises the top two floors of a Victorian mid-terrace building which used to be an old Sea Captain’s house.

The space
The first floor includes an open-plan kitchen and living area, and a master bedroom with a super-king-sized double bed, reading lamps with integrated USB charging points, a vanity station, and an en-suite shower room with WC.

Two further bedrooms are located on the second floor each of which include two single beds. A sofa bed suitable for sleeping one or two young children is also provided in a landing area on the second floor.

The living area consists of sofas, coffee table, corner unit including a smart TV and DVD player, and double ‘French-style’ windows leading out onto the full length balcony that provides panoramic views over the town, the turquoise water and sandy beaches, and the rolling hills beyond.

The kitchen is well equipped, including all items you may typically need during your stay.

The parking for the property is a designated private parking space for a single car in the residential parking area above Shadycombe public carpark.

We do allow young children, but note that use of the balcony is at your own risk.

Award-winning restaurants, pastel-coloured houses and independent boutiques line the seafront, the perfect spot to sample the delicious Salcombe Dairy ice cream.

The estuary is bordered by magnificent cliffs which form part of the South West Coast Path well loved by walkers throughout the year. The South West Coast Path has been mentioned recently in the Great Adventures book, published by the Lonely Planet, as one of the world’s most awe inspiring hikes. Described as “walking at its most diverse and most spectacular”, the South West Coast Path is the only hike in the UK to make it into the highly respected guide book.

Activities in the area are boundless. You can learn to sail, hire a dinghy (with or without a sail), canoeing & kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, surfing, fishing, power boating, rib riding, walking or just laze on one of the lovely beaches.
