Center Izola – near the lighthouse
At the end of the Izola peninsula there is a nice city swimming area. There are showers, a sandbox and little trains for children. You can walk to the swimming area from the centre or drive from the direction of the shipyard.

Simon’s Bay
In the central part of the beach, the bottom of the sea has been covered with sand. Water toys rental is also possible. The swimming area is even more interesting because of the peer and the slide, next to which there are two beach volleyball courts. Between the swimming area and the nearby hotels there is also a fast food restaurant, a playground for children and a game room with pool tables and videogames.

In the close proximity of the Delfin Hotel and the Marina there is a small bathing area. If it is too hot, you can seek shadow in the restaurant on the beach or on the terrace of the Pergola restaurant.

Bele Skale – White Rocks
Those who do not like the crowd in Simon’s Bay, can take a walk towards Strunjan along the shore with shale sedimentary rocks. After one kilometre you will find the Bele Skale Bay, named after the white rocks, which can be found at the beginning of the Bay. For couples that like peace and quiet, this area is very popular. In some areas is visited mostly by nudist.

Beach for Blind and Disabled People
It is located near the Lighthouse. It is well organised and adapted for people with special needs. There are also two small swimming pools on the beach.

Hope to see you soon here....

While the apartment is a 'studio flat', it is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped.. We stayed for two weeks and felt very comfortable and at home. There is a delightful seating area outside. The apartment is in the old town and the surrounding area is attractive and unspoilt. Isola itself is a lovely town and there is a great deal to see in the vicinity. While there, we visited Ljubljana and the Julian Alps - they are within a manageable distance of the apartment. Flavio is an attentive host - we arrived late and there was a basket with bread, milk, tea and coffee, which was very welcoming.

It was a pleasure to stay at Flavio's studio. We were welcomed by Marko who showed us everything, provided list is most popular/interesting places in Isola. Since we traveled with a baby we got baby bed and some toys :) The studio was clean, well equipped and placed in the perfect location. Close to the restaurants and the beach. If you consider visiting Isola stay at Flavio's place!!!

We rented a 2 bedroom and a studio apartment for our family (grandparents, parents, toddlee, and baby). The apartments are clean, nice layout, and very comfortable. Flávio and Marko were both great hosts, good communication, and friendly. The apartments are a good location, easy to walk to sea, boardwalk, restaurants, cafes, etc.

Very convenient location - at the edge of the old town, just close to the beach (some 3 mins walk) and the same lenght to the nearest shops (bakery, butcher, fish market, market place, grocery shop). The appartment itself was very clean and of a good size for 2 people and 2 small kids. Flavio took care of us the whole week. As a welcome gift we got a bottle of local wine and some small snack. Also, he gave us a lot of recommendations what to do, where to go shopping, what wine is good and where to go for trips. Whenever we needed some help, it was a question of a few moments to get the request done. Although surely we were one of many guests during the year, we could feel that he is really keen to take care of us, so that we feel utmost comfortable. Also generally, Izola was very neat place for vacation - people were extrmely friendly and surprisigly, lots of locals speak (at least a few words) in English. If you consider Slovenian coast as a spot for your vacation - go for it! It is worth the try and you will not regret it.

We are completely happy about our stay there. Very clear communication, no problems, flexibility from Flavio and his son. Accomodation is very nice and quiet, it had everything we needed for a few days with little son. Important for us to have a parking nearby, everything in Izola is then close enough for walking.
