We are a low budget destination stay for runners, hikers, swimmers and cave explorers or anyone just wishing to just hang out or relax, work on their laptop or do nothing. We are located 30 kilometers outside Chiang Mai city, on the outskirts of Ob Khan National Park. We are 8k from the Care for Dogs dog rescue center and house many of the guests who volunteer there.

The space
Hello and welcome to Boo's Adventurer's Paradise. Please read everything in the descriptions below, so there are no misunderstandings. We are located 30 kilometers outside Chiang mai city, in a small village next to Ob Khan National Park and have a beautiful new bungalow with a double bed, sofa, vanity table, closet, table for working on your laptop, and a couple fans. There is also room for another mattress on the floor for children or an extra person to sleep.

Guest access
Wifi is available on the property. We also have a common room where guests can relax, read, eat, plan trips, work on their laptops or play table football (Fooseball). There is a refrigerator and cabinet to keep your food and drinks in and a kitchenette. There is a private shower and toilet attached to the house.

Other things to note
We do not serve food as there are numerous restaurants and shops around to choose from. A western style supermarket and fresh local market are located 20 minutes away by motorbike. There is also a 7/11, ATM, pharmacy and petrol station 4k down the road and a German bakery/restaurant 6 kilometers down the road. We also have coffee and tea set up in the common room. When you enter the National Park from my location, there are hundreds of trails to hike or run on. You may also volunteer at the local dog shelter, (Care for Dogs) which is 20 minutes away, if you are staying longer than a week, they have a 2 or 3 day orientation program before you can volunteer. You may look them up online.

Location

Chiang Mai, Thailand

I am located in a small village with all the sites, smells and sounds you would expect from a Thai village, Including monkeys, lizards, chickens, birds, insects and chanting monks. Sorry to disappoint a few of you, but there are no night clubs, karaoke shops, go-go bars or lady boy shows in the village. It takes about 30 minutes to drive from the city of Chiang Mai to my place (Excluding rush hour). We are close to the Chiang Mai Grand Canyon, National Park and Baan Tawai Handicraft Village.

I am from a small village near Ayuttaya. I live with my nephew and 2 dogs. I like running, gardening, exploring new places and meeting new people. And shopping. Always shopping.
During your stay
As members of the Hash House Harriers, (drinkers with a running problem) we encourage our guests to take advantage of the numerous running clubs we belong to. You can walk, run or just sit around and make friends with the other non runners while the crazy ones are out running through the forests. The men's only group runs are on Mondays at 3:30 and the men's and women's runs are on Thursdays at 3:30. Weather permitting and availability of dry wood, guests can also build a fire at night to sit around. You can also accompany us on our numerous trips around the area running errands and food shopping.
