Place actually a restaurant at ground floor and 1st floor dining area was briefly equipped with some mattress & blankets. Only has a electrical heater with no bathroom. Place does not qualify to be termed a room. Airbnb should not have accepted such places in their listing. Aside from a reasonable breakfast with rice, salad & fried chicken, there is nothing much to shout about. Previous review mentioning owner took her for visits & transport appears unlikely. Owner has a restaurant to run each day and will not have time for such. Will not come again.
To be honest about my experience, I won't come back again and don't recommend it to anyone who's to travel to Nagoya. I booked this place because this was the only (yes, the only) place available in Nagoya during the weekend of Nagoya Women's Marathon (and yes, I was there for the marathon). The place was not built or designed as a place for people to live. It was the upper floor of the owner's bistro-like restaurant, and had no door to separate it from the ground floor. Like some others said in their reviews, there was no shower or hot water. When I stayed in mid March, it was about 10 degrees at night and freezing cold. There were two heaters which were unbearably loud and didn't help much... The biggest problem was the noise. Since there was no door at all, all the noise from the restaurant at night was pretty annoying, and the place was right next to a railway line... To be fair, the owner was pretty responsive to all our requests, but the settings of the place were simply something he couldn't help with... Oh, the least of all, this place was far from the city, some 30/40min bus and subway ride away...
