Some info has been automatically translated.
This cozy apartment in Marburg's oldest street (Weidenhäuser Straße) is located in a listed house from the 18th century. century, which is mainly inhabited by students. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and has its own bathroom as well as a pantry kitchen. It is ideal for couples, students or interns who may also stay in the city for a longer period of time, as well as for weekend visitors.

The space
The apartment consists of a bathroom as well as a living/sleeping and dining area and can accommodate 2 people. It is equipped with a sofa bed (140 × 200 cm).
In the dining area there is a table with two benches that can accommodate 4 people.
The small kitchen is equipped with a fridge, sink, electric hot plate (2 burners), kettle, teapot and coffee pot.
The bathroom has a large shower, toilet and sink.
The entire apartment was newly renovated in December 2020 (new wooden floor, new bathroom, etc.)
A large TV and free Wi-Fi are available in the apartment.
There is also a washing machine and dryer in the house for use (for a fee) by all residents on the 3rd floor.
The house consists of 10 parties/rooms, most of which are permanently rented to students.

In addition, it should be mentioned that we operate a solar system on the roof of the house and thus want to make a contribution with renewable energies. In summer months, the house is almost 90% self-sufficient from the external power supply.

Guest access
Check-in is via a key box in the entrance. Code will be sent after confirmed booking.

You are not allowed to park directly on Weidenhäuser Strasse, but you can stop briefly to unload. However, an entrance to the street is only permitted on working days between 6:00 am - 7:30 pm, and it must be driven at walking speed, as it is a play street.
There are a few free parking spaces in Sommerbadstrasse, but of course we cannot guarantee that they are free.
Otherwise, most parking spaces in the area are for residents, so you may get a parking ticket. The parking garage of the Erlenring Center is very close. This is not free, but also does not cost a fortune (according to the website without guarantee €7/24 hours, with P-Card even only €4.5/24 hours) So it makes sense to order a P-Card in advance, which is also free.

Neighbourhood highlights

If you step out the front door, you are in Marburg's oldest street. Here time seems to stand still. Cars drive only very sporadically and with special permission. Weidenhäuser Straße is one of the oldest in Marburg and gives the Weidenhausen district its name. The street is lined with small restaurants and cafes.
The city's extensive culinary offerings for every budget leave nothing to be desired.
On the ground floor of the house is a cozy pub restaurant, which invites you to enjoy delicious dishes made from regional products at very fair prices.
