On one of the main islands, Möja, you find the origin village Långvik in the north. Genuin house with guest house.
We have ordinary water toilet, whitch is unusual in the archipelago. Water is good for cooking, drinkingwater is to be bought at Coop.

The space

Set in the beautiful Stockholm archipelago, lies the beautiful and harmonic island, Möja. As the fifth largest islands in the entire archipelago, and at a 2 hours distance by ferry from Stockholm city, it is one of the most visited islands in the archipelago. The country house is so typical Swedish as it can be. With red facade and white window-frame, it is trufully idyllic. The house has a kitchen, two bathrooms, 8 beds, where 2 of them are private, one livingroom, and a big garden, with a trampoline. There is a grossery shop a few hundred metres away from the house. The house is just a few metres away from the Baltic Sea, and some nice swimming places.

Guest access

The whole house with all facilities.
Private deck for small boat.

If you are looking for somewhere to get away, enjoy nature, relax, go walking, biking and swimming; then this the place to go! The house is super comfortable and is very well set up. We were a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 children. The kids slept in the guest house (bunk room) while we had the double rooms and twin room ( mezzanine floor) in the house. Moyà has lots to do, walking trails, cafe, kayaking, biking, swimming in lakes and sea. We spent alot of time visiting the villages on the bikes. There is also bike hire in Langvik. Recommend the Fish restaurant in Ramsmorra ( next village) , open all year round; Roland Svennson (local artist) museum. Swimming at beach near Sandvik. Cafe in Berg, the yellow house, especially the chocolate pizzas! Yum! The coop in Langvik was pretty well stocked considering, the one in Berg was amazing and had a great range. The tourist office was open too. The locals were very friendly and helpful too. At the house we had use of bikes, BBQ, trampoline, swings and boat. Ralph was very contactable before and during our stay. The water is still yellow and although it didn't worry us, it did seem to get stronger by the end of our stay. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable, I would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to come back to explore more of the archipelago again.

We had a really wonderful week with our two girls aged 3 & 5. They loved the freedom of the sunny, sheltered garden (and trampoline) and their excursions with us by bike trailer and row boat gave them and us a real sense of the island. We had missed the summer "season" by a week which meant that the local fish seller had closed and shopping hours were limited. But instead we had (apparently) the best weather of the summer and the island pretty much to ourselves. It was very convenient to have the ferry & shop so close. Ralph keeps the house well equipped as an everyday holiday cabin which made us feel at home. We were grateful not to have to bring all the cooking basics. We've already recommended this place to friends being all that a family needs - simple, basic & cosy.

Very quaint cottage. Bikes have seen better days but are free. We had problems with the DVD player on a rainy day but it was a cosy place in a lovely location. The local market closed on august 30th so there was a daily ride to Berg. The water was a little disconcerting but we were assured it was fine. All in all a cool place to stay.

Family friendly. Walking distance to local supermarket and cafe, snack restaurant. Shop and cafe open. Te 10-18hrs, make sure you buy plenty of water since the water in house is not drinkable. Other restaurant and shops in Berg about 4-5km south and open later approx 21-22:00hrs. Ralph let us borrow his bicycles. I would recommend possibility of renting sheets and towels for international travelers. House is fully equipped with games, music, trampoline. Walking distance to the water. Plenty of hiking routes. I recommend hiking to the inner lakes for a swim. A very peaceful place.

Langvik is a beautiful place to stay. The kitchen is fully equipt. And it is perfekt to have the smal shop so near in the summer. The garden was a nice playground for our 3 kids. Ww took a bath in the sea and the nearby lake. The communication with Ralph was perfekt. We like to come back!

This place is really awesome! The house is very Swedish outside and newly renovated and full equipped inside. It is very family friendly (we have four kids and it was too comportable for us). Moja is the island of a dream! If you've never seen deers running across the yard in the morning you must be Ralph's guest )) he is the lucky one to have such a nice house in such a lovely place!
